A register of UK managed IT and cybersecurity providers, run by OurIdea.ai.
Coverage, stated plainly
Every active company under the managed IT code on the UK register. Providers elsewhere in Europe are added on request, and none have been added yet. The automatic pull works on the UK register because Companies House publishes the whole register as open data under the Open Government Licence. Most European registers do not, and several charge for access, so European coverage is built by request rather than by bulk pull. We would rather say that than imply a Europe-wide sweep we do not have.
This is not an official register
It is an independent one, run by OurIdea.ai, built from official registers. Several US states now require managed service providers to register with the state, and nothing here is that. Being listed here is not a licence, an accreditation or a permission to trade, and being absent from it means nothing at all.
Europe, not just the UK
The request route is open to any provider in Europe and the check works in most of it, because the same imprint and legal notice rules exist across the continent. The home page always says how many countries are actually represented, and that number is the honest answer to what this site covers today.
Where we are
OurIdea.ai is UK based, and the register was built here first. That is a starting point rather than a boundary.
Corrections and removal
Email register@ouridea.ai with the company number. Removal needs no reason and is actioned on the next build. Corrections to register facts should go to Companies House, because this register follows the official record rather than overriding it.
