A register of UK managed IT and cybersecurity providers, run by OurIdea.ai.
Where the register is today
Coverage is a selection, not the whole register. Every active company under the managed IT code on the UK register. Providers elsewhere in Europe are added on request. We are UK based and the UK register is where the automatic pull works, because Companies House publishes the whole register as open data under the Open Government Licence, and most of Europe does not. Several European registers charge for access, so coverage there is built by request rather than by bulk pull. Any provider anywhere in Europe can ask to be listed, free, and the check is the same wherever you are.
How this register is run
This is not an official register
It is an independent one, run by OurIdea.ai, built from official registers. Several US states now require managed service providers to register with the state, and nothing here is that. Being listed here is not a licence, an accreditation or a permission to trade, and being absent from it means nothing at all.
Europe, not just the UK
The request route is open to any provider in Europe and the check works in most of it, because the same imprint and legal notice rules exist across the continent. The statement above always says how many countries are actually represented, and it is generated from the data rather than written by hand.
Corrections and removal
Email register@ouridea.ai with the company number. Removal needs no reason and is actioned on the next build. Corrections to register facts should go to Companies House, because this register follows the official record rather than overriding it.
